Peru - Qenqo, Puka Pucara & Tambo Machay

I will show you many pics of places of suburbs of Cuzco this time.

Off course, these places have historical values.

This is Qenqo.

This place was used to hold festivals.

It was built to cut big stones but not stock small stones.









This is Puka Pucara.

Puca means 'red'.

These buildings were red at that time.

This place was used for lookout.









There is a llama on the hill of Puka Pucara.

They had been living here with Peruvian.












This is Tambo Machay.

Tambo Machay has abundant water.

It was used for bathing.











This place is 3,750m above sea level.

It is almost same of height of Mt. Fuji in Japan.

Peru - Sacsayhuaman

This theme is 'Sacsayhuaman' in Cuzco.

This place is a fortress to save their country from Spanish.


This is the 'Sacsayhuaman'.

Off course, the structures of these buildings are closely.











This is a hill near there.

This was off course used as a fortress.














The rock arrangements were beautiful.















We could see the message 'VIVA EL PERU' from there.














There are the village of Peru near there.

the characteristics are red roofs.

Peru - Lunch in Cuzco

This week's photos are lunch in Cuzco.


This is a quinoa soup.

'Quinoa' is a kind of grains.

This tasted refresh.

I don't remember what the ingredient of this fried food was.

This is tea of coca.

This is not a drug.

Peruvian sometimes drink this tea for relaxing.

I could be relaxed, too.

Peru - 3rd day in Cuzco #5
