Peru - Machu Picchu part3

There are 5 pics in Machu Picchu, too!


At last, It began to be less fog!

We could see Huayna Picchu!

Huanya Picchu means 'a young peak'.

I heard Huanya Picchu was younger than Machu Picchu.













There is Recinto de Guardian on the top of the hill.

Recinto de Guardian means the hut of guardian.

It was used to watch their enemies from there.








There are 2 stone mills.

Of course, a lot of people lived here.

This is the evidence many families was living.















There are terraced farms!

It was beautiful & magnificent!













This is 'Templo del Condor'.

This means temple of condor.

I heard the underground area of this object was prison.

There are some people who wore a raincoat because of fog & raining.

It became less and less fog.

Peru - I reached Machu Pichu!

I will show you a lot of 'Machu Pichu' pics from this week!

This is the entrance of Machu Pichu.

There were a lot of people.













Machu Pichu is surrounded by many mountains.

It was misty!











This is the plate of American Hiram Bingham.

He is the discoverer of Machu Pichu.

He likes the model of Indiana Jones.















Of course, Machu Pichu was built by stones, too.














There are many terraced farm.

Peruvian made potatoes corns, etc here.

Peru - I was going to Machu Pichu.

 At last, I was ging to Machu Pichu!

This is Ollantaytambo.

'tambo' means an inn in Inca.

Peruvian used there as a fortress when Spanish attacked to Peru.










I reached the station of Ollantaytambo.

I had taken the train to Machu Pichu here.












This is a Vistadome.

I took this train from Ollantaytambo to Machu Pichu.

It was comfortble for me.











It is in the Vistadome.

There are a lot of windows on the ceiling.

It was very comfortable and nice view.















The view from in the train was very beautiful and I was cozy.

But my feeling was very exciting more and more.

Peru - Hotel San Agustin Urubamba & foods

The topic of this time is 'Hotel San Agustin Urubamba & foods'.


I ate 'Quinoa soup'.

Quinoa is grain oriented in Andes.

It is simple and I like it.












This is 'Trucha a la Plancha'.

It is fried fish.

So good.










This is the garden of Hotel San Agustin Urubamba.

I could be cozy there.












That hotel has a swimming pool.

I didn't swim.

There are no swimmer because it was cool.










There are a lot of flowers.

Beautiful!













I will show you Ollantaytambo and taking a train 'vistadome'.

I would at last go to Machu Pichu!

Peru - Qenqo, Puka Pucara & Tambo Machay

I will show you many pics of places of suburbs of Cuzco this time.

Off course, these places have historical values.

This is Qenqo.

This place was used to hold festivals.

It was built to cut big stones but not stock small stones.









This is Puka Pucara.

Puca means 'red'.

These buildings were red at that time.

This place was used for lookout.









There is a llama on the hill of Puka Pucara.

They had been living here with Peruvian.












This is Tambo Machay.

Tambo Machay has abundant water.

It was used for bathing.











This place is 3,750m above sea level.

It is almost same of height of Mt. Fuji in Japan.

This theme is 'Sacsayhuaman' in Cuzco.

This place is a fortress to save their country from Spanish.

Off course, the structures of these buildings are closely.

This was off course used as a fortress.














The rock arrangements were beautiful.















We could see the message 'VIVA EL PERU' from there.














There are the village of Peru near there.

the characteristics are red roofs.
